I’ve been a journalist most of my life and I would love to help your business start its social media journey.
I started in print journalism around a decade and a half ago and moved to broadcast – because I love radio! I helped create and manage the first social media accounts at the radio stations I worked at in the UAE, so was a super-early adopter of Facebook Business, Twitter ads etc. (Things are moving so fast on social platforms, but I foresee Instagram and TikTok staying around for a long, long time.)
While I was working at one of the radio networks in Dubai, and probably because I wasn’t busy enough (!!) I started a standup comedy business with friends. That’s when we discovered exactly how powerful social media is – we had hundreds of people attend our first event at a venue for 60!
This is exactly why I started Evanesco. I had been freelancing for a few years, and realised that quite a lot of my work involved helping (mainly tech businesses) distinguish themselves from everyone else in a crowded digital marketplace.
Also, I love making podcasts and being creative with videos – editing is my jam! If you want to make a podcast, please call me, it’s my absolute favourite.
